PPE Kits



Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) are protective gears designed to safeguard the health of workers by preventing or minimizing exposure to an infectious agent or body fluid that may contain an infectious agent.
This can be used in the quarantine centres, hospital, laboratory and primary health care/community settings.

 

PPE Kits Include gloves, gowns, shoe covers, head covers, masks, respirators, eye protection, face shields, and goggles.

 

Face shield and goggles: Protect contamination from entering the eyes, nose and mouth in case of droplets generated by cough, sneeze of an infected person. Prevent accidental touching of the eyes/nose/mouth with a contaminated hand

 

Masks: Prevent infection from entering through the airways of the nose and mouth.

 

Gloves: Provides protection while handling objects/surface potentially contaminated

 

Coverall/Gowns: Designed to protect the torso from exposure to the virus. Covers the whole body, including back and lower legs and sometimes head and feet as well.

 

Shoe covers: Additional protection to cover feet, which sometimes can’t be protected with Coverall/Gowns

Headcovers: Coveralls usually cover the head, however, headcover is essential for keeping hair and hair extensions from straying out.
